EXO

EXO demonstrates that wood can transcend its traditional application. The boundaries of delicate, razor-thin wood is explored, and through the use of color and minimalist aesthetics, new and unique objects emerge.

The wall objects have an organic, gently curved form that evokes natural elements such as leaves or shells, while also suggesting a subtle tribal association.

Each object is carefully composed with fine, linear cutouts, creating a play of light and shadow when displayed on the wall. The openness of the forms allows the work to engage in a subtle dialogue with its surroundings, where light and shadow on the wall play a significant role. The subtle coloring with linseed oil gives the objects a warm, natural appearance.

This second series consists of 26 unique pieces, with each work in the series featuring its own distinct color palette and pattern.
